As more and more supporters from across the Valleys contact Valleys Rugby, our confidence grows that the demand, the player base and the finance is there to support a Valleys region in whatever revised regional structure the WRU intends to create.

Valleys Rugby is still awaiting with keen interest the response of the WRU to the plans submitted at the end of last month, and we also continue to revise and refine those plans in preparation for our crucial meeting with the Union.
 
In the meantime public, commercial and media interest in our proposal for a fan-owned, community-based Region for the Valleys continues to grow.

Tonight on BBC 2 Wales, the Sport Wales Programme focuses on Valleys Rugby, interviewing some of those at the heart of the project, along with ex Valleys-based players to gauge their reaction to the plan.

BBC Wales has also requested an interview with the WRU... tune in at 22:00 tonight to see if they got lucky!
